Enabling local people to maximise economic growth opportunities
Who are we and what do we do?
Fieldfare is a not for profit group that brings together people from rural businesses, farming and rural communities with the aims of supporting economic growth and improving quality of life. The group was established in 2007 to deliver rural development and operates under the principles of the LEADER approach to enable local people to support local projects through local action
Who do we work with?
Fieldfare exists to support local economic growth and the creation of jobs in rural communities. We work in partnership with Local Authorities, Government agencies and local people to identify and secure funding and provide support for enterprises and community initatives
Making it happen
Fieldfare has published a Local Development Strategy (2014-2020). The strategy reflects the needs and issues that local people identified and sets out the priorities for supporting the local area to improve economic growth and support the creation of new jobs
How to get involved
Membership is open to anyone with an interest in rural development, local economic growth and rural quality of life. Board members are appointed through a nominations process and elections are held for specific project delivery and working groups. Please contact our Programme Team on 01962 848 588 if you would like further information.
