The following lists the types of activities that can be supported:
*Retailing, manufacturing or service industries - including self-made products
*Tourism, recreation, equestrian and creative industry initiatives
*Environmental services, including the traditional trades required to maintain and enhance the landscape
*Renewable energy, including the storage and supply of wood fuels
Key facts about Fieldfare:
- home to 1,539 farm holdings
- employs 2,843 people on farm holdings
- farm holdings cover an area of 83,209 hectares
- Grant support is available to members of a farm household exercising an agricultural activity on the farm at the time of the application. Support is also available to farmer controlled businesses.
RDPE grant funding can not be used to support any activity that is defined as “agricultural production” (as defined in the Agriculture Act 1947). For more information and clarity about what this means, please contact Ken Brown
You may also find that the Defra Farming & Forestry Improvement Scheme (FFIS) is relevant to your project. Please note that you can not apply to both LEADER and this scheme for the same project.
