Here you will find useful information on everything from what the grant supports, how to apply for funding and ultimately how a grant award is decided
Who are we and what do we do?
Fieldfare is a not for profit group that brings together people from rural businesses, farming and rural communities with the aims of supporting economic growth and improving quality of life. The group was established in 2007 to deliver rural development and operates under the principles of the LEADER approach to enable local people to support local projects through local action
Who do we work with?
Fieldfare exists to support local economic growth and the creation of jobs in rural communities. We work in partnership with Local Authorities, Government agencies and local people to identify and secure funding and provide support for enterprises and community initatives

Fieldfare is here to support those from the rural community who are looking to create infrastructure or projects that can make a difference to the local economy.
You are eligible to apply if you are: A micro or small business, farmer, grower, forester, private and public organisation a voluntary and constituted community group.

Making it happen
Fieldfare has published a Local Development Strategy (2014-2020). The strategy reflects the needs and issues that local people identified and sets out the priorities for supporting the local area to improve economic growth and support the creation of new jobs
It is those local people that make the decisions on applications to award funding.
