Foresters and private woodland owners

RDPE grant funding can be used to:

*Purchase equipment for woodland management

*Fund management plans

*Process timber

*Help produce wood fuel 

*Diversify into recreation

*Enhance public access

Key facts about Fieldfare:

• contains 18,000 hectares of forestry and trees
• 8,911 hectares of this is classified as Ancient Woodland (AW) (49.4% of the total)

Grant support is available to private forest/woodland owners, foresters, contractors, private woodland associations and local authorities.
