Common terms
- Additionality - to ensure value for money, the paying body and the recipient should be clear about what extra things happen as a result of the grant. For example, new or expanded services
- Assurance - relevant and reliable information concerning the recipient’s use of their grant. This includes the amounts claimed and spent, and what the grant delivered
- Eligible expenditure - the total cost of the project that LEADER is supporting
- Grant aid support - the amount of grant offered as a percentage and financial value of the eligible expenditure
- Leverage - the total project cost and/or fundraising value
- Slippage - delays in project delivery that mean the milestones/targets are not met
