Local Action Group

The Fieldfare Local Action Group manages LEADER funding across Winchester and East Hampshire Districts, and is made up of:
• Steering (governing) group
• Appraisal panel
• Fieldfare rural network

The LAG Steering Group
The steering group meets 4 - 6 times a year and has a role in:

• Setting the priorites for funding and operational delivery
• Appointing the grant panel
• Monitoring projects that have received RDPE funding

Committee members live, work within or support local rural businesses and communities. They  include nominees from the Federation of Small Businesses, the Sustainability Centre, Community First East Hampshire, Winchester Area Community Action and Community Action Hampshire, Sparsholt College, local farmers, tourism businesses, forestry businesses, the two local authorities and previous grant recipients.

The LAG Appraisal panel
The appraisal panel meet every six weeks to consider expressions of interest and full application's for grant aid support.

The Winchester & East Hampshire rural network

The network includes the LAG and all projects that have received RDPE funding in the Fieldfare area.
