Permanent Publication's

When the Sustainability Centre secured a grant from the Fieldfare Local Action Group towards constructing a roundwood timber outdoor classroom, the opportunity to record the project was too great  to miss.

Permanent Publication's who are based at the centre and produce the inter nationally acclaimed permaculture magazine received a grant towards creating a DVD and book. Written by Ben Law (of Grand Designs fame) the book and DVD offer a unique and practical "how to" benchmark of sustainable buildings.

Kevin McCloud, TV Presenter of Grand Designs states "Ben shows us how it might be possible to live a low carbon, low resource-intensive way of life". Bens own built home featured in the series and is considered by Kevin as in his top five ever best designs.   

Ken Brown , Fieldfare LAG Programme Manager is absolutely thrilled with the final result "This is a must read book and I recommend that you obtain a copy soon as they will prove very popular and if you miss out, you will be disappointed! ".
