Tourism related enterprises

RDPE grant funding can be used towards:

*Small scale capital investment

*Improving your building

*Marketing support and development (preference towards web based activities)

*Technical support to assist businesses to become established

*Costs of establishing collaborative initiatives to meet visitor needs

*Benchmarking, accreditation and networking

*Recreational infrastructure that offer access to the countryside and the historic environment

Support is available towards the costs associated with accreditation and we are keen to encourage accommodation providers to complete accessibility audits.

We are particularly keen to support businesses that provide an obvious link to local food, high quality self catering accommodation (including camping), green tourism, the ‘equestrian offer’, public access and increasing awareness and understanding of the countryside. We are also keen to support collaboration projects between clusters of accommodation providers.
